Position Overview

Specialized Vehicle Maintenance Technician (Training on Defense Vehicles)

Base Salary: £30,400 for 37 Hours

37 Hour Work Week + Option for 4 Day Work Schedule + Funded Training Programs + Career Advancement Opportunities + Flexible Working Hours + Company Pension Scheme + 25 Days Annual Leave + Additional Company Benefits

This role is ideal for individuals with a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Technician background holding an NVQ Level 3 qualification, seeking a distinctive and rewarding position within the defense sector that promises excellent long-term career growth, alongside the potential for additional earnings and favorable work-life balance.

As part of this role, you will engage with some of the most advanced and confidential defense vehicles and projects, contributing to global security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical systems, including diagnostic and inspection tasks.
  • Comply with customer specifications, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring the proper utilization of issued materials and equipment.
  • Diagnose, evaluate, and document the condition of vehicles and equipment, manage material requirements, and complete testing reports in accordance with established standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Aspiring Vehicle Mechanic / Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent experience

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM & Friday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

(Overtime compensated at 1.5x, Sunday at 2x)
