Our client, a reputable organization specializing in Truck & Trailer maintenance, is currently looking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fitter for weekend shifts.
As part of a skilled team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Performing necessary repairs identified during inspections
- Executing general servicing and preparing vehicles for MOT
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues
- Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant databases
The ideal candidate for the Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fitter role will possess the following qualifications:
- Full industry qualifications and completion of a recognized apprenticeship
- In-depth knowledge of Truck & Trailer maintenance
- A commercial driving license is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems, including maintenance and repair
