About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SUEZ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Prepare and carry out MOT inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally with a focus on heavy goods vehicles
  • HGV licence class 1 or class 2 an advantage, but not necessary
  • Inspection training/IRTEC accreditation an advantage, but can be provided
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics an advantage, but training can be provided if required
  • Ability to inspect vehicles to the DVSA standards and above
