About the Opportunity

Nutanix is seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as the Director of Channel Sales. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales managers and developing strategies to drive sales growth through our channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales managers to achieve sales targets and grow revenue through our channel partners
  • Foster strong relationships with our channel partners to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive pipeline creation and attainment of bookings goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies and drive business growth
  • Plan and direct sales activities and partner business planning to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with field marketing to develop effective communication and demand generation strategies

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of sales processes and channel sales
  • Ability to lead and develop a diverse team of sales managers
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level partner contacts
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
