Essential Skills for a Sales Support Specialist:
- Significant experience in an administrative capacity or prior experience in a sales support role.
- Proficient in managing and updating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and databases.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales assistance by screening and distributing incoming sales inquiries.
- Prepare quotes and pricing documents for the Key Account Managers.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers on behalf of the Key Account Managers.
- Process orders upon receipt to ensure they are ready for the projects department.
- Conduct market research and identify upcoming projects.
- Reach out to potential clients through various communication channels.
- Oversee the administration of systems across departments, including shared folder structures, CRM systems, and reporting.
- Manage and update the CRM system effectively.
