About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert advice and guidance on all legal matters related to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support to our business teams on commercial law, regulatory compliance, governance, and procurement matters.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive legal framework for our business operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with our governance team to identify and mitigate legal risks, and develop strategies to manage and control these risks.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisors and other stakeholders to ensure effective management of legal matters.
  • Support the development and delivery of specialist legal training and guidance to raise awareness and capability across the organization.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in commercial law, regulatory compliance, governance, and procurement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
