Salary: £12.74 per hour, rising to £12.43 in the first year of service

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point Scotland's Glasgow Mental Health & Huntington's Service. As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to adults with complex and enduring mental health problems and individuals suffering from symptomatic Huntington's disease
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and housing support
  • Encourage individuals to participate in education, employability, and social activities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement person-centered support plans
  • Monitor and report on individual progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided
