About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point Scotland's Glasgow Mental Health & Huntington's Service.

As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to adults with complex and enduring mental health problems and individuals who suffer from symptomatic Huntington's disease.
  • Work with individuals to maintain their own tenancies and find a support network of positive relationships involving everyone in fulfilling & meaningful activity.
  • Provide practical and emotional support, including personal care and cooking/housekeeping skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and social work professionals, advocacy services, and our staff members to ensure a person-centred approach.

Requirements:

  • No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided.
  • Having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is essential.
