We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C prison in Staffordshire. As a General Practitioner in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, providing high-quality healthcare in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care, working closely with a well-staffed multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis, making timely decisions regarding patient management.
- Contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities, ensuring high standards of care.

Requirements:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification.
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
