We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary care to patients within GP clinics, clinically assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with complex and long-term conditions.
- Provide clinical oversight of patients on the Care & Separation Unit (CSU) and support with advance care planning, clinical case reviews, safer prescribing decisions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Lead and manage a team of clinicians, providing clinical supervision and supporting their professional development.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical governance framework, ensuring that our services are safe, effective, and of high quality.
- A competitive annual salary up to £135,000 FTE, depending on experience.
