We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C prison in Staffordshire. As a General Practitioner in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, providing first-class healthcare and developing your knowledge in areas you may not typically experience in a general practice or A&E environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality healthcare to patients with complex and long-term conditions
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis, making timely decisions regarding patient management
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide specialist resources and support
- Contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities

Requirements:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications

Salary and Hours:
This part-time position offers an annual salary up to £113,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will work 15 hours per week, ideally Monday's and Wednesday's.
