About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systemic Family Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in West London CAMHS. As a Principal Therapist, you will play a critical leadership role in our Crisis Service, working with young people and their families who are in crisis or require more intensive support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialized clinical skills in Systemic Family Therapy to children and adolescents in crisis or requiring intensive support.
  • Lead and manage a team of therapists, providing supervision and guidance to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Represent Systemic Family Therapy within the context of multi-disciplinary care, promoting its application in different cultural contexts.
  • Contribute to the development of the Systemic Family Therapy community in West London CAMHS, ensuring it remains a centre of excellence.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate training in Systemic Family Therapy, accredited by IFT or AFT.
  • Professional registration with the UKCP.
  • Qualification in a relevant profession, such as social work, nursing, or psychology.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups in CAMHS services, presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent Systemic Family Therapy within multi-disciplinary care.
