Accounts Assistant Opportunity

We are working with a well-established company in Barnsley, seeking a professional Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers a chance to progress your career in a busy and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Match and code Purchase Ledger invoices, prepare payment runs, and raise Sales Ledger invoices.
  • Deal with chasing outstanding and overdue payments, and cash allocation/bank reconciliation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with varied experience in transactional finance, including Accounts Payable and Receivable duties. Experience in the engineering/manufacturing sector or similar industry is desirable.
