Position Overview

This pivotal Sales leadership role is designed to spearhead the achievement of the company's growth objectives across its diverse service offerings.

The responsibilities will include overseeing current transport capabilities while identifying and developing new sales avenues.

The aim is to effectively serve our established clientele while attracting substantial new business by delivering efficient and profitable solutions tailored to complementary clients.

In this role, you will manage and guide the sales team, ensuring it is optimally positioned to seize sales opportunities and help the organization realize its ambitious growth aspirations.

In addition to your individual new business targets, you will also oversee a small team.

A natural leader, you will thrive in client interactions, fostering the development of significant existing and new revenue streams.

Candidate Profile

With a track record of developing a business unit exceeding a million pounds and holding full commercial accountability, you will have demonstrated success in driving product growth, revenue, and profit targets.

Experience at a senior level in Business Development within the logistics sector is essential.

Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to present concepts in a trustworthy, engaging, and professional manner, are required.

You should exhibit resilience, confidence in your abilities, and a positive outlook.

Leadership qualities are crucial, as you will be expected to take charge and make challenging decisions.

Ideally, you will possess experience in roles related to 3PL, 4PL, or complex outsourced logistics sales.

Utilizing insights to guide strategic direction, you will foster innovation and analyze potential implications.

Your adaptability will be key to thriving in a multifaceted business environment.

A strong desire for success is essential, along with a willingness to dedicate significant time and effort to meet the ambitions of the organization.
