Job Title: Solicitor (Employment Law)

Law Staff Ltd is seeking an experienced Solicitor (Employment Law) to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As a key member of our employment law team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice to businesses and individuals across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting senior associates and partners on cases, while managing own matters under supervision
  • Delivering high-quality, commercial advice to businesses and individuals
  • Handling a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work
  • Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, service agreements, settlement agreements, and policies and procedures
  • Assisting on Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, List of Issues, and correspondence with the Tribunal
Requirements
  • Strong academic background, with a minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Desirable experience in supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE, advising on and enforcing post-termination restrictions, and experience advising clients from various sectors
