Job Overview

Position Summary:

IRIS Software Group is on the lookout for a proactive and strategic Senior Finance Manager to enhance our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) division. This role serves as the principal finance collaborator for the Managed Services sector, delivering comprehensive financial support to the Senior Leadership Team. The Managed Services area encompasses a variety of offerings, including outsourced payroll services, offshore assistance, and additional advisory solutions. With substantial growth achieved both organically and through acquisitions, we expect this positive trend to persist.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Deliver timely insights and analyses to the Managed Services leadership team, aiding them in achieving and surpassing financial objectives.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and approve essential financial documents (actuals, forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategies). Ensure that key assumptions and trends are thoroughly understood by relevant stakeholders.
  • Integration of Acquisitions: Assist in the consolidation and assimilation of acquisitions within the Managed Services domain. Support leaders in realizing post-acquisition value enhancement plans and improving EBITDA.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and manage performance against key performance indicators. Propose corrective measures as necessary.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a finance team leader, fostering the growth and development of junior team members.
  • Special Projects: Participate in various special projects to support the broader Payroll & HR division as needed.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, providing financial insights to support their decision-making processes. Actively engage in Managed Services SLT meetings, presenting relevant financial data and highlighting significant trends and issues.
  • Guide the Managed Services Finance Business Partner to ensure financial models are robust, precise, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee the monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring key deliverables are met and that Commercial, Product, and Operational initiatives are accurately represented.
  • Ensure business partners comprehend their financial obligations and monitor their progress. Offer guidance on managing risks and opportunities while establishing strategies and reporting mechanisms to optimize financial performance.
  • Challenge the Managed Services SLT as necessary to maximize financial outcomes.
  • Review monthly results against forecasts and budgets, providing key variance information to Finance and Operational SLTs and clarifying the implications of variances on forecasts.
  • Ensure effective financial controls are established and functioning across Managed Services.
  • Collaborate with the broader finance team to develop and deliver comprehensive and insightful information regarding the performance of the product portfolio.
  • Utilize various systems and the Datawarehouse to enhance management information that informs business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation and potential cost savings. Support ad-hoc projects and analyses as required, assisting IRIS's leadership team in achieving their strategic goals.
  • Facilitate the integration of acquisitions into regular reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification: CIMA (or equivalent) with several years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in business partnering with senior leaders, preferably within managed services, recurring revenue, or payroll services sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives to successful completion.
