Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Recycling Centre service team as a Deputy Site Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our waste management facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision of service users to ensure they are placing their waste in the correct areas.
  • Verify permits for vans and trailers and inspect waste types to prevent contamination.
  • Ensure the segregation of waste streams to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operate compactors and JCBs, with training provided, to compact waste efficiently.
  • Participate in training programs, including First Aid, Fire Marshall, Manual Handling, and Plant operations.
  • Support the team in achieving our vision to increase recycling rates and reduce waste sent to landfill.
