Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to healthcare teams, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, using clear and concise language to convey important information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality referral services and cover for staff absences.
- Manage appointments, cancellations, and rearrangements using our referral system.
- Process letters and maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Provide support and advice to clinical and other staff within the department.
- Manage the day-to-day running of clinics, ensuring they are used to capacity.
- Good standard of education
- Previous experience of office and administration procedures
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally
- Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality issues regarding patients, staff, and sensitive Trust matters
