About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and caring individual to provide administrative support to our team. As a Bank Shift Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the local health and care community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our team, including answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails.
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality referral services and provide cover when needed during times of staff absence or annual leave.
  • Provide an effective and efficient customer-friendly service to patients, their families, and carers.
  • Appoint, cancel, and rearrange appointments as required using the Referral system.
  • Work process letters as appropriate in relation to booking.
  • Provide support and advice, maintain channels of communication, and links with clinical and other staff within the department.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of clinics, ensuring they are used to capacity.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education.
  • Previous experience of office and administration procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality issues regarding patients, staff, and sensitive Trust matters.
