About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced administrative support worker to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a bank administration assistant, you will provide high-quality administrative support to our healthcare services, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare teams, including answering telephone enquiries, processing letters, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work as part of a team to provide a high-quality referral service, including appointing, cancelling, and rearranging appointments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, using relevant speed, accuracy, tact, understanding, and confidentiality.
  • Work process letters as appropriate in relation to booking, and provide support and advice to clinical and other staff within the department.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of clinics, ensuring they are used to capacity.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Good standard of education
  • Previous experience of office and administration procedures

Desirable

  • RSA11, Business Administration NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience of Rio, System1, EMIS, and Microsoft Office
