Detailed Job Description and Main Duties
The Orthoptic and Optometry clerical team is in search of bank staff to commit to two sessions weekly.
The successful candidate will provide a front-line reception service for patients, their families, visitors, and staff, ensuring a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing their check-in and check-out processes, processing clinic payments, scheduling follow-up appointments, and addressing inquiries from patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Additionally, the role involves organizing patient health records for clinics by requesting, locating, and preparing documentation for the Orthoptists.
The candidate must possess knowledge of and comply with all hospital and departmental policies regarding appointments, waiting lists, admissions, discharges, and the recording of information for statistical purposes.
