We are seeking a vigilant professional with a commitment to safety and security to join our team as a Casual Security Officer in Halifax. If you have a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for ensuring the well-being of others, we want you to be part of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Screen Staff and Visitors: Ensure that all individuals entering the premises adhere to our security protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor Premises: Conduct regular patrols to prevent rule infractions and maintain a visible and reassuring presence.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Promptly respond to alarms and security incidents, and take necessary actions to resolve the situation.
  • Enforce Company Policies: Ensure that all staff and visitors comply with our company policies and procedures.
  • Document Incidents: Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • SIA Licence: Must have an in-date SIA Licence.
  • Security Experience: Proven experience as a corporate security officer or relevant positions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures.
