Transportation Planner

Reed is seeking a skilled Transportation Planner to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods and resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective transportation plans to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with drivers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to optimize routes and schedules.
- Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, driver hours, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Work closely with the transport manager to plan and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and other external partners.
- Provide support and guidance to drivers and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transportation planning and coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
