Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for working on aerospace/aircraft component and system-level engineering analysis solutions within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to meet agreed timelines for deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. FE Tools Expertise: Utilize Finite Element (FE) tools (e.g., ABAQUS) competently to perform classical static stress and fatigue analysis.
  2. Interface with Stakeholders: Interface with Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments as required.
  3. Audit Reviews and Presentations: Participate in audit reviews and present information as requested to stakeholders.
  4. Product Validation: Engage in product validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Supplier and Customer Liaison: Liaise with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organisations to ensure seamless collaboration.
  6. Analysis Solutions and Recommendations: Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or alternative methods to enhance engineering analysis capabilities.
  7. Design Review and Compliance: Review drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements.
  8. Travel and Collaboration: Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with stakeholders and attend meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Education: Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  2. Aerospace Knowledge: Good working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes for mechanical systems.
  3. Engineering Functions: Understanding of different engineering functions and their interdependencies.
  4. FEA and Fatigue Software: Experience with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools, including Nastran, Patran, and Hand Calcs.
  5. Structural Analysis Methods: Proficiency in static and fatigue structural analysis methods.
  6. Engineering Drawings: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  7. Aerospace Materials: Experience with aerospace materials engineering properties.
  8. Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  9. IPT Environment: Experience in an Integrated Project Team (IPT) environment.
  10. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
