About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analysis Engineer to join our team at Omega, a leading Aerospace OEM with a Global Presence. As a key member of our IPT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering analysis solutions to meet agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Utilize advanced Finite Element (FE) tools, such as ABAQUS, to perform classical static stress and fatigue analysis.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of analysis solutions.
  3. Participate in audit reviews and present information to stakeholders as required.
  4. Contribute to product validation and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements.
  5. Liaise with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organizations as necessary.
  6. Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or suggest alternative methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Review drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  8. Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Hold a minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  2. possess a good working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes, with landing gear experience being advantageous.
  3. Have a solid understanding of the different engineering functions and be able to work effectively within an IPT environment.
  4. Be proficient in recognized FEA and fatigue software tools, with experience in static and fatigue structural analysis methods.
  5. Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have experience working with aerospace materials engineering properties.
  6. Have experience working to regulatory requirements and be able to travel occasionally as required.
  7. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information, as well as being organized and able to work to strict deadlines.
  8. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
