We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education and Early Years Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their workplace assessments and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of teaching assistants and early years practitioners, as well as the ability to work independently and make productive relationships with our work placement settings.
You will be responsible for assessing students on placements, formulating action plans, and ensuring timely achievement of placement assessments. You will also be required to keep accurate assessment records and manage your own appointments and schedule.
About You- You will be an excellent communicator, confident and able to build an engaging learning relationship with students.
- You will have knowledge and understanding of the role of teaching assistants and early years practitioners.
- You will be able to work independently using your own initiative, visiting work placements, remote working, and college-based working.
- You will have a passion and ability to inspire and motivate young people to become our future education and childcare workforce.
- You will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of employers and work placement teams.
- You will have a can-do attitude to all tasks and responsibilities, and be flexible to meet workload.
- You will be able to use technology to upload, track, and record students' progress.
