About the Role:

Are you an accomplished Senior Surveyor or Associate Director with expertise in lease consultancy? Beach Baker, a prominent agency specializing in the retail, restaurant, and leisure sectors, is seeking a talented professional to enhance their Lease Consultancy team.

In this position, you will operate independently, delivering strategic guidance on lease negotiations, rent assessments, and lease renewals for prime properties throughout the UK. You will also have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in Asset Management, particularly with high-end shopping destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation and representation on rent assessments, lease renewals, and lease modifications for retail and leisure properties.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of lease agreements, market trends, and legal factors to develop strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, valuations, and strategic insights to support lease consultancy initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders to negotiate advantageous lease conditions and achieve optimal results.
  • Work alongside leading leasing and investment teams, offering comprehensive advice on all facets of the property lifecycle.
  • Assist in the asset management of premier properties in key urban locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • MRICS qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in lease advisory or commercial property consultancy, demonstrating a successful track record in negotiating lease agreements, rent assessments, and lease renewals.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex lease documents and financial information.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, especially Excel.
