Audience Analytics Specialist

MacGregor Black is currently collaborating with a Prominent Events Agency in the search for an Audience Analytics Specialist. This is a permanent position.

As the Audience Analytics Specialist, you will be instrumental in harnessing advanced media analytics and audience measurement methodologies to scrutinize complex media consumption data, produce actionable insights, and influence strategic decisions that enhance content strategy and audience engagement. Your analyses will illuminate pathways for media evolution and will be essential in delivering the finest content and campaigns to the audience.

You will be vital in shaping strategic roadmaps for global markets, pinpointing opportunities for media optimization, collaborating with senior third-party stakeholders, forecasting media trends, and fostering a culture of insight-driven innovation throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Examine various media forms to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can enhance content strategy and audience engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate media insights and strategic recommendations effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders, transforming media data concepts into actionable strategies and business implications.
  • Industry and Audience Research: Remain updated on industry trends, audience behavior, and competitive landscapes through thorough media research and analysis.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Leverage data-driven insights to refine content strategies, customize media campaigns, and improve audience experience to drive higher engagement and satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in media analytics or audience insights within a sports organization or similar, with a proven record of generating valuable media insights.
  • Strong technical proficiency in a media analytics or audience insights role, with a history of producing valuable media insights.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
