This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor seeking long-term stability, hands-on development, and a positive work atmosphere.

The contractor has secured a long-term framework agreement, indicating a commitment to sustained collaboration with key clients.

As a Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Engaging in client-facing meetings to ensure project profitability.
  • Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, who has a proven track record of career progression within the company.
  • Managing a diverse range of projects, including signal upgrades, civil engineering tasks, and station depot initiatives.
Key projects you will oversee include:
  • A complex scaffold installation project involving extensive groundwork and design elements.
  • A new cable trough route project, including grading and enabling works.
  • Ongoing survey works to assess the condition of existing infrastructure.
  • Rapid response initiatives for track rectification during scheduled maintenance periods.
As part of a newly awarded contract, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the project from mobilization to delivery, managing all commercial aspects.
  • Engaging in both design and construction services for various civil engineering tasks.
Collaboration with operational teams will be essential:

There will be a strong focus on developing target cost prices and implementing effective cost control measures to maximize project profitability.

In terms of administrative support:

A senior commercial administrator will assist you in managing cost recording and allocation tasks.
