Role Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Training Operations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer CITB HSE assessments as necessary (Training will be provided).
- Collaborate with external training organizations, including Operator Skills Hub.
- Perform tasks in strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Respond to telephone inquiries.
- Manage training documentation (both in-house and external).
- Prepare weekly reports on training gaps.
- Schedule medical appointments and verify operators' medical certifications.
- Identify and communicate any medical concerns to the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of risk assessments for personnel related to occupational health.
Additional Duties:
- Oversee the PTS Sentinel System, including Primary and Sub Sponsors.
- Distribute PTS sponsorship agreements.
- Provide training materials, including all necessary rail documentation and logbooks.
- Issue rail-specific personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate medical and drug & alcohol testing appointments.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and company policies regarding personal data management.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
