Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Registered Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Acorn Surgery. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine nursing tasks related to patient care, including immunisations, cervical screening, wound management, and chronic disease management.
- Maintain accurate electronic clinical health care records.
- Work collaboratively with the General Practitioners and other members of the team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice protocols and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality initiatives and benchmarking activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council) qualification.
- Experience of chronic disease management, infection prevention and control measures, and working autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Well-developed IT skills and ability to work with electronic health records.
