About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Registered Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Acorn Surgery. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing tasks related to patient care, including immunisations, cervical screening, wound management, and chronic disease management.
  • Maintain accurate electronic clinical health care records.
  • Work collaboratively with the General Practitioners and other members of the team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice protocols and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and benchmarking activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council) qualification.
  • Experience of chronic disease management, infection prevention and control measures, and working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to record accurate clinical notes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Well-developed IT skills and ability to work with electronic health records.
