We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Acorn Surgery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our practice's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients, including routine tasks and procedures, such as immunisations, cervical screening, and wound management.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate electronic clinical health care records and contribute to the development of our practice's clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the maintenance of our practice's CHD register.
- Support patients and colleagues in adopting sound infection control measures and promote public health-related immunisation programmes.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience of chronic disease management and working autonomously.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control measures and the ability to work within own scope of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Well-developed IT skills and the ability to work with electronic clinical health care records.
