Position Overview

Role Summary: In the capacity of Senior Engineering Leader, you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating engineering functions across various residential initiatives. You will supervise a team of proficient engineers and work in conjunction with different departments to guarantee the effective execution of their projects, from the initial design phase to final completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the engineering team, offering mentorship, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Manage the planning, design, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, project coordinators, and other key stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions align with project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable building codes, regulations, and health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with engineering designs.
  • Identify and address engineering challenges and issues that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Promote innovation and continuous enhancement within the engineering team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable position within the residential development industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant building codes and construction standards.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
