About the Role:


As a CNC Machine Profile Operator, you will operate CNC profiling machinery (Bystronic/Esprit/Trumpf) as directed by your supervisor to produce a diverse range of high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

Reporting to the Profiling Team Leader, you will collaborate with the profile machining team to ensure that products are manufactured according to client requirements, maintaining our focus on quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the execution of the machine operation plan within specified timelines and according to the required drawings/specifications, promptly reporting any deviations through the appropriate channels.
Systematically complete tasks to uphold quality standards, even under time constraints.
Maximize machine utilization while minimizing downtime.
Communicate any issues to your team leader or production manager promptly to avoid disruptions to the production schedule.
Prepare and load raw materials and components onto the machines.
Set up and operate machines to fabricate parts.
Maintain equipment and ensure that necessary spare parts are available, performing maintenance as needed.
Oversee machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality output.
Conduct operations such as drilling, tapping, sawing, grinding, bending, and finishing as required.

Ensure that consumable materials are readily available and notify the appropriate channels of any low stock levels before outages occur.

Maintain organized storage and identification of raw materials.
Provide accurate documentation as necessary.
Ensure product traceability and compliance with required standards.
Offer guidance and expertise in machine settings, operations, training, and problem-solving.

Train others as needed, ensuring comprehension and competency in performing tasks safely and within established timelines.

Support overall quality performance and adhere to quality policies and procedures.
Maintain established housekeeping standards and practices, ensuring cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by your Team Leader, Production Manager, or a member of the Senior Management team.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Essential / Desirable:
Proven knowledge of CNC profiling is essential, including Laser, Plasma, and Waterjet technologies.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficient IT skills.
FLT and Crane licenses are desirable.
1-2 years of CNC profiling experience on Plasma (Esprit/Hypertherm), Waterjet (Bystronic/Flow), or Laser (Trumpf) machines.
Competence in using measuring tools such as tape measures and Vernier calipers is essential.
Understanding of various material grades is crucial.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
