Job Summary:

Kinetic PLC is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a heavy engineering environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing machinery, as well as completing all relevant documentation in line with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control the manufacturing process to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Complete all relevant documentation, including production records and quality control reports.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Return tooling and equipment to designated locations after use.
  • Carry out duties requested by the on-shift supervisor to support assembly and testing operations.
  • Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Risk Assessments for all production operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating various types of manufacturing machinery in a heavy engineering environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
