Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team at Woodlands Care Home, a brand-new, purpose-built care facility in Aberdeen. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our residents, relatives, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and route them accordingly or deal positively with any resulting enquiries.
  • Sort through incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
  • Respond positively to any face-to-face enquiries and help where possible to both visitors and clients.
  • Provide secretarial support, maintain records, and provide updated resident information on a daily/weekly basis.
  • General filing and record maintenance.
  • Photocopying.
  • Work towards company policies and assist and contribute where possible.
  • Any other duties considered reasonable by the manager or proprietor.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year's experience in an admin/reception environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop good relationships with residents, relatives, employees, and external professionals.
