Job Summary:

NHS Grampian is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Outpatient Administration team as an Administrative Support Officer. This role will provide administrative support to the Outpatients Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, responding to telephone enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process GP referrals, prepare clinic lists and paperwork for upcoming clinics, and assist clinic coordinators with booking appointments from outpatient waiting lists.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
