We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join our rapidly expanding team at LMP Group. As a Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education provision for autistic children and young people, aged 4 to 19 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support to children, supporting all elements of learning, emotional wellbeing, communication, behavior, and personal care.
  • Work alongside the Teacher, Lead Assistant, and other Classroom Assistants as a member of the class team to deliver an appropriate curriculum within a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
  • Support the Teacher in planning and delivering lessons, and contribute to the development of individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with the management of classroom resources, including equipment and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • GCSE level qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience of caring for others, children, or adults.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be part of a dynamic team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
