On Trade Wine Sales Account Manager

Berkmann Wine Cellars, a leading family-owned wine importer, is seeking a skilled On Trade Wine Sales Account Manager to join their sales team in the South West region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top-tier restaurants and retailers, promoting premium wines from around the world.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's presence in the on-trade sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the on-trade industry, including restaurant owners, managers, and sommeliers.
  • Provide expert knowledge of wine, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine styles, to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, including wine tastings, events, and trade shows.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving license.
  • WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the on-trade sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
