Berkmann Wine Cellars, a leading wine importer in the UK, is seeking a skilled Wine Sales Account Manager to join our team in the South West area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our premium wine portfolio to restaurants and retailers in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in the on-trade sector.
- Provide expert knowledge of our wine portfolio, including its history, production methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Work closely with our winery partners to stay up-to-date on new releases, trends, and market developments.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license.
- WSET Level 2 or higher.
- Proven sales experience in the on-trade sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
