  • Perform thorough evaluations of surveillance notifications, probing into possible market misconduct or abuse.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to pinpoint and evaluate market surveillance vulnerabilities.
  • Remain informed about changes in regulations and leading industry practices.
  • Create and sustain detailed documentation for surveillance methodologies and workflows.
  • Support enhancements and upgrades of surveillance systems.
  • Contribute to the formulation of surveillance analytics and performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in market surveillance within the financial sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in SMART, Actimize, and ideally Validus by Eventus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading tactics.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank).
