Warehouse Operative

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our CRU Returns team in Newbridge. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of customer stock.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process customer deliveries, verifying quantities and completing necessary paperwork.
- Pick and pack customer orders, adhering to agreed turn-round targets and dispatching orders with accurate documentation.
- Load trailers with customer goods, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Put away customer goods in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized storage environment.
- Perform manual handling of products, adhering to safety protocols.
- Sign off on completed tasks, ensuring accountability and quality control.
- Contribute to a clean and tidy warehouse environment, including shelf dusting, gangway clearance, and litter removal.
- Participate in stock integrity and quality checks, ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- A professional demeanor and attitude.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of MHE licenses (Articulated, Counterbalance, PPT) is desirable.
