Warehouse Operative - CRU Returns

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our CRU Returns team in Newbridge. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of customer stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process customer deliveries, verifying quantities and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Pick and pack customer orders, adhering to agreed turn-round targets and dispatching orders with accurate documentation.
  • Load trailers with customer goods, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Put away customer goods in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized storage environment.
  • Perform manual handling of products, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Sign off on completed tasks, ensuring accountability and quality control.
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy warehouse environment, including shelf dusting, gangway clearance, and litter removal.
  • Participate in stock integrity and quality checks, ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of MHE licenses (Articulated, Counterbalance, PPT) is desirable.
