Join Our Team as a QA Lead

ONYX Insight, a prominent entity in the renewable energy landscape, is on the lookout for a skilled QA Lead to enhance our dynamic team. This position is perfect for an experienced QA professional with a solid background in agile software development, eager to make strides in the renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality, dependability, and performance of all software applications.
  • Direct and manage testing initiatives for new functionalities and regression assessments.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the company's software offerings.
  • Work closely with software team leaders to ensure timely product launches.
  • Establish and uphold testing frameworks in line with ISMS protocols.
  • Distribute testing resources according to the release timeline.
  • Improve the overall testing methodologies within the software division.
  • Participate in daily scrums, planning sessions, and retrospective meetings.
  • Create automated testing frameworks utilizing Playwright and Appium.
  • Guide junior testing engineers and monitor their growth.
  • Generate monthly performance reports and updates.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading a QA team.
  • Background in fast-paced agile settings.
  • Expertise in both front-end and back-end testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GIT, Jira, and AWS.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in software development.
  • Understanding of the wind turbine sector is advantageous.
