We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic Services teams based in Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a self-directed Services Engineering team to deliver innovative automated testing solutions that enhance the experience of credit card users from diverse backgrounds.
- Translate the strategic goals and vision set forth by Product Management into effective testing methodologies and scenarios.
- Critically evaluate the software developed to ensure all defined objectives are achieved through a robust testing approach.
- Establish and oversee the testing strategy for components and their integration at a system level, aligning with the goals of Product Management, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Efficiency.
- Act as the liaison between the acceptance criteria defined by Product Management and the code produced by the engineering team.
- Ensure a clear traceability from requirements to acceptance criteria, to testing scenarios, and ultimately to the code produced.
- Foster innovation within your team and contribute to your technical domain.
Qualifications:
- Proficient programming skills, particularly in Java, as this is the primary language utilized by our quality and software engineers.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers.
- A strong commitment to teamwork, utilizing collaboration and communication to drive success.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, enabling you to enhance the team's operational practices.
- A proactive approach to sharing best practices and learning new techniques and processes.
Work Environment:
This is a permanent role based in our Nottingham office, with a hybrid working model that allows flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. We emphasize collaboration and connection, with in-office days scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
