Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to join our team at The Hub. As a QA engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by developing and executing exploratory and automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design and implement tests to ensure product quality, including exploratory and automated testing.
  • Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing.
  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools to streamline testing processes.
  • Bug Tracking and Resolution: Identify, record, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution and minimize defects.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that fixes do not introduce new defects.
  • Process Development: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs and ensure quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to inform testing strategies and improve product quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  • Methodologies and Tools: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Testing Techniques: Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting, as well as experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
