Job Title: Registered Home Manager - Children's Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead and manage one of our client's children's residential homes. As the Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care, overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, and ensuring the highest quality of support and care is provided to each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the children's residential home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to children and young people.
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement person-centred care plans, ensuring that the needs of each child are met and that their rights and dignity are respected.
  • Staff Management and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and dedicated staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure that the children's residential home complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to child welfare and residential care.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification, and Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Care qualification (or willingness to undertake).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a care management role, particularly in a children's service environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in child welfare and residential care.
