About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our team as a Locum Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Acute Plastic Surgery service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in joint sessions at both the Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital, Stafford
  • Contribute to the development of our Acute Plastic Surgery service, focusing on Skin and Trauma pillars
  • Work closely with the Plastic Surgery Service team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participate in clinical trials and research projects related to skin cancer and plastic surgery
  • Take part in a future on-call rota covering inpatients and emergency referrals

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: GMC registration, entry on the Specialist Register, FRCS Plastic Surgery or equivalent
  • Desirable qualifications: higher degree (PhD, Masters), fellowship in Breast microvascular Surgery, fellowship in Hand Surgery
