Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and review care services to ensure they meet the required standards set by regulatory bodies and the company.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, guidelines, and policies, including safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
  • Care Audits: Conduct regular audits of care plans, client records, and care delivery to assess quality and adherence to care standards.
  • Training & Development: Identify areas for improvement and coordinate training programs for caregivers to enhance service quality.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on care quality, compliance, and recommendations for improvement, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Incident Management: Investigate any care concerns or incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance or care standards role within the home care, healthcare, or social care sector.
  • Strong understanding of care regulations, including CQC standards (or equivalent depending on country).
  • Ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to care teams.
  • Proficient in report writing and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations.
