Position Overview
Permanent role, offering a competitive hourly rate of £13.50.
As a Lead Care Coordinator at Dovehaven Care Homes, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the care team within the facility, ensuring that all care staff comply with CQC regulations while delivering outstanding care to our residents. You will be instrumental in fostering high standards of care and will mentor and guide less experienced team members, empowering them to contribute effectively to the overall care provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and writing abilities
- Prior experience in an elderly care environment
- Self-driven, resilient, and well-organized
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- Reliable, capable of performing well under pressure, and adaptable to the needs of the facility
- Previous leadership experience in a care or nursing home setting, particularly with elderly individuals
- An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is essential, along with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care.
