Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to provide exceptional front-of-house support to our team at the New Forest National Park Authority. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and welcoming service to our visitors, staff, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service skills, responding to a variety of inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring seamless communication and organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Utilize IT systems, including Office 365, to maintain accurate records, manage communications, and support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
